Congratulations to the Wanderers for becoming this year's League Winners, with Anchor Aweigh coming second.
In Division B, the Jokers are the Winners, with Lodway coming second.

Anchor Aweigh have been unable to secure enough players, so have withdrawn from the league. This means we will have 13 teams left and will have to consider at the AGM going down to one division.

AGM 2026

This year's AGM will be held on the 16th July at Clarence House, starting at 8:15.

Please can any proposals for change be submitted to me asap, so that they can be published here and circulated to each team for discussion before the meeting. (Every proposal needs a nominator and a seconder for consideration at the AGM.)

Please can each team confirm they are participating in the next season by the 14th June, along with details of any changes to venue, secretary or team name.

Any new team wishing to join the league should contact me by the 14th June.

Proposals for AGM:

Proposed by Easton Sports: how games could be played this season.

We could split the season in half, the first half (before Christmas) have a single division draw and play 13 games, with every team playing each other once. (The way we normally do the fixtures, the second half would be a repeat of the first half but with opposite home and away games.)

This proposal is that the league table positions from the first half would be used to determine who goes into division A and division B for the second half of the season. We then have two division fixtures covering the last 14 weeks of the season, the top 7 teams go into division A and the bottom 6 teams go into division B.

This way it changes the format of home away home away games that we did last year, gives teams the opportunity of playing teams in the first half they wouldn’t normally play, as teams will have to play for their position - or qualify to get to the group stage of division A or B.

The winners and runners up of each division then get the trophies and prize money (based on the second half of the season only).
